Imagine the best of global and Indian DJs and rappers, art, customization and Levi's coming together for one big blow on Saturday, May 18 at Famous Studio, Mahalaxmi (tickets here- they're free!). Lucky for you, we have a preview of what's to come. Spoiler alert: a seriously cool tailor shop and Adarsh Balak jean patches are involved. Good girls and boys, follow us!

The Tailorshop Featuring Custom Designs & Art Installations

This #501Day, Levi's will set up their biggest Tailor Shop yet, offering customisation of your fav blue jeans with pins and patches, heat transfer, distressing, screen printing, doodles and embroidery. We're super excited about their Tailor Shop collaborations with the country's coolest designers and artists, including Adarsh Balak, Sam Madhu, Ikat Story and Srillustrator. 

Also drool over  25 pairs of jeans customised by artists across India, with art installations that bring to life, Levi's' values of equality and sustainability. 

This #501Day, Levi's will set up their biggest Tailorshop yet, offering customisation of your fav blue jeans with pins and patches, heat transfer, distressing, screen printing, doodles and embroidery.

Leading Global + Local Hiphop Artists

#501Day will be headlined by BAS, a Sudanese rapper, born in Paris and living in Queens, who has played alongside artists like Cole and 50 Cent on J Cole's "New York Times".  On the same roster is another Sudanese rapper, Amir Mohamed aka Oddisee who is influenced by soul and rap, and has performed with the likes of Kendrick Lamar, will.i.am and Herbie Hancock at the industry get together "Summit At Sea" in the Caribbean. Next, put your hands together for DJ QBert, widely regarded as the most highly skilled skratchingdj; Londoner Raji Rags, former Head of Music for Boiler Room; half Indian-half British DJ Pia Collada, who played at festivals like Goa Sunsplash, Boxout, Weekender; and Shillong's MebaOfilia, whose hiphop and Rnb stylings are a joy to watch.For more details on each artist, click here
