The Gentlemen’s Edition: For all the pop ups that peddle frocks and rocks, finally, here’s one just for men. The annual Gentlemen’s Edition is back with its discerning eye for all things luxe – food, fashion, wine – curated by Vinisha Jain. At the uber plush World Towers by Lodha Group (which will be open to all for the first time on October 29), the Edition is where you can go to buy suits and leather products and cufflinks; order bespoke shirts and shoes; and discover new grooming products. Other attractions include zones for 3D printing and VR games, food pop-ups by restaurants like Theory; and beer and wine tastings.
Spoken: Kalki Koechlin, Ankur Tewari, Tanmay Bhat, Swadanand Kirkire and others pay tribute to words via live storytelling sessions, poetry readings, spoken word and songs. 50 artists will perform in English, Urdu, Hindi and Kannada at this two day fest, while you follow a Shakespearean troupe around the park.
On October 28-29 at Jio Garden, BKC, buy tickets here.
Parekh & Singh Live At The Royal Opera House: First, you get to check out Mumbai’s newest live music venue, The Quarter, and second, you get to see Parekh & Singh live. Do you really need any more reasons to book tickets ASAP? How’s this for the cherry on top: for the first time in their four-year career, this Kolkata-based dream-pop duo will perform with a Western classical string quartet, featuring two violins, a viola and a cello. Told you we weren't stringing you along.
