1tablespoon: For Pizza By The Slice Delivered Until 3 am
Inspired by New York-style pie parlours, 1tablespoon sells and delivers pizza by the slice, which makes it a super option, especially on weekends, when delivery is on until 3 am! Herbivores, get the Bianca or Farmers’ Market; carnivores, order a Pepperoni slice; and both sets of animals will love this triangle – the New York Cheese (full menu here). Send flours to 1tablespoon, whose Bandra kitchen launches next month!

The Bandra Project by Pizza Express: Mojitos With Your Margheritas
Possibly the buzziest and busiest new pizza place from the folks behind PizzaExpress, The Bandra Project offers a long, long bar to go with your pizza (they deliver too!). We love their thin, crisp Romana style Cipollo Piccante (super spicy with green chillies and jalapenos) and Pomodoro Pesto; plus their iconic rectangular Calabrese pizzas. (On a merry) note: From December 23 to January 1, The Bandra Project is offering packages with an unlimited option of premium liquour and appetisers plus one dessert; see Champagne Package. Jolly good!

CinCin: Love Triangles With New Prospects
Bombay's sexiest new Italian restaurant at BKC sends pillowy crusted pies straight from the wood fired oven to your table. In Filipa Goes Foraging, crunchy garlic, portobello mushrooms and porcini cream add depth to a pie that is one of our favourites in the city. Go during aperitivo hour when CinCin opens at 5 pm and get great deals on your Spritz and Tegronis (a tequila-based Negroni).

Francesco’s Pizzeria: Drone Delivery + Other Fly Things
Francesco’s may be famous for its one-time drone delivery, but if you’ve eaten here you’ll know that its hand-rolled pizzas are more fly. Made with artisanal thin crust bases and handpicked, fresh ingredients, this little pizzeria sells big flavours. Our picks: Peri Peri Paneer Pizza and Pizza Caprese Basilico. Also worth trying and brand new to their menu is the Pizza Sorpresa, stuffed with caramelised onion, chicken mince with porcini sauce, chopped parsley, sun dried tomato, garnished with rocket and parmesan flakes and rock salt (see full menu here).
At Colaba, Kemp’s Corner, Lower Parel and Bandra, open until 3 am on weekends (Colaba too until January 1), order online on http://francescospizzeria.com/, follow them on Instagram @francescospizzeria, Rs 380 for a seven-inch pepperoni pizza.
Gustoso: We Are The Champions
With a new menu created by four-time World Pizza Champion, chef Giulio Adriani, Gustoso could be where you find the pie of your dreams. We routinely order the Diavola with spicy Napoli salami; and Quattro Fromaggi (four cheese).
Kemp's Corner and Bandra, call 23822584/ 26485697, follow them on Instagram @gustosoindia, Rs 575 for a Magherita.
Ray’s Café & Pizzeria: Mumbai Masala In A Hidden Café
Discovering Ray’s – hidden behind an Asian restaurant – is half the fun, and once you’ve eaten their pies, you will be hooked. Here you will find stone ovens, an Italian kneader, and owners who’ve lived in California for a decade. Ray’s' saucy New York style pizzas are wholesome (Sriracha Tribute, Pesto- Sun Dried Tomato, Classic Margherita and Prosciutto-Rucola are great); and despite our usual aversion to fusion food, we can’t get enough of the Mumbai Masala pie.
133 Hill Road, Bandra (W), for delivery call 33126037 or order via Scootsy, Swiggy and Zomato, follow them on Instagram @rayscafebandra, Rs 505 for a 9 inch Three Meat Pizza.
