It might not serve your favourite lunch of chicken over rice (how we miss you, The Halal Guys!) but it might be the closest you’re going to come to a good food truck in this city.
Say hello to Masque’s Treat Truck, which will park in Lower Parel next week and dish out an unusual menu of yak cheese tacos, chicken and breadfruit sandwiches, pork neck burgers and a pineapple and coconut soft serve. Yum!
Organised as part of Masque’s third birthday (they even have tres leche cake with corn ice cream to celebrate), the truck is in partnership with The Bombay Food Truck and will appear in Midtown at the Lodha World Towers (13-15th September) and also in BKC (16-20th September).
Dishes will be designed by Masque’s very own Chef Sadhu in collaboration with food writer Sonal Ved as easy-to-eat small plates, featuring big flavours and a whole bunch of fresh produce from Leh and Kashmir – that explains the amrood chutney, then.
Getting there: The food truck will be at Lodha World Towers, Lower Parel from 13-15 September and at Godrej BKC from 16-20 September, noon to 7 pm.
