Get lucky in Kentucky with Southern barbeque, bourbon, mint juleps and wagering this Sunday, October 15, as Boston Butt puts out its first anniversary Kentucky Derby brunch.
Wear your best fascinator to Kala Ghoda’s smokery, charcuterie and bar café and get ready to be transported to the 60s.
Sunday sips here will include Mint Juleps (Jim Beam Kentucky Bourbon, mint), Churchill Downs (banana dominated Dutch liqueur Pisang Ambon, Stolichnaya vodka, charred lemon, wheatgrass, mint & ginger balm), Peaky Blinders (craft brewed coffee honey mead dunked in a rum blanc concoction of house-made lemon balm, bitters) and Thoroughbred (Ardmore single malt Scotch whiskey, sherry, rice wine, earl grey tea, brûléed orange).
For food, you can tuck into Bananas Foster Waffles (banana bread waffle, bananas foster sauce, Nutella & cream cheese ice cream); Hot Brown Egg Benedict (turkey & poached egg on biscuit, mornay sauce, pecorino, bacon, tomato); pepper crusted smoked mutton loin; Smoky Chipotle Cheddar Burgers with Mexican Street Corn Fritters, tender coconut guacamole; Sloppy Joe Grilled Cheese; Aloha Meatball Mini Sliders, and at the end, a big, fat Kentucky Derby Pie!
Owners Siddharth Kashyap, Karna Shinde and Nishant Rao hope that you can swing by with friends and family for a feast you won’t forget and the musical stylings of an international live jazz band.
