Fantastic beats and where to find them: we haven’t been this excited about a festival headliner in a while; Jungle will play at SulaFest19 in February!
Festival goers, your favourite Gourmet World Music Fest is back this year with “its biggest line-up ever!” Block your calendars for February 2 and 3 to witness a two-day carnival - gorgeously located in the rolling Sula Vineyards, Nashik – featuring world music, food, shopping and of course, so much wine!
The Music: Shankar and Shers In The Jungle
The highlight for us is the headlining act by Jungle, an English modern soul musical collective from London, who will be making their Indian debut at the festival’s open air amphitheater. Other equally amazing acts include those by Shankar Mahadevan, who will bring a touch of folk, fusion and Bollywood with his chart-topping and award winning hits. Plus, award-winning rapper Vivian aka Divine (you’ve heard Jungli Sher and Farak, right?); Israeli groove collective Lucille Crew; UK-based Hallouminati; reggae artists FORELOCK & ARAWAK;
Spencer Maybe from London; electro funk artist Mother’s Cake from Austria; Indian artists Nikhil Chinappa and Ankytrixx will also be performing.
Food & Drink: Grape Stomping + Gourmet Food
Let’s talk about the wine first. Sip on India’s favourite wines from Sula, plus vino and spirits from around the world. Gourmands, seek out and sample food from 20 culinary brands; and later, stop by the SulaFest Bazaar to shop a maze of curated fashion and home labels.
Foot massages, grape stomping, camping, and a variety of other activities are on the agenda, so those grape expectations you have about SulaFest19 won’t be dashed.
