Zoom into Northern Thailand with Fatty Bao's Amazin' Race, to explore bit(e)s of Thailand's culinary landscape that you probably haven't experienced yet.

This trip's menu, on from September 26 to October 21, will traverse lesser known treasures of Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Pai and Sukhothai. Let the exploring begin with Chiang Mai’s Mashed Green Banana and Eggplant Salad; and move on to Chiang Rai where stir fried Chicken Wings with chilli lime and coriander sauce and Karee puffs await. Other edible citizens of Chiang Rai include Pun Sip Neung (steamed rice fish dumplings served with the famous nam priksauce) and Sai Krok Isan Sausages (rice fermented pork sausages served with bird’s eye chili, cabbage and ginger).

The Pai region is represented by Phet Nomai Gai Ban (stir fried spicy chicken with bamboo shoots); Pat Krapha Gai (minced chicken and holy basil on jasmine rice, served with a fried egg).

The vacation ends at the final stop - Sukhothai - with Khao Soi Curry served with sticky jasmine rice; and Sukhothai style thin noodles with fish dumpling, dried shrimps and minced chicken; and Khanom Jeen Nam Ngiao spicy noodle soup.

There’s nothing like a bowl of fragrant, fiery noodles to bind a culinary trip together. Travel companions, please assemble at slurp station!
