No more crouching, tiger. Come on out, hidden dragon. Is this movie reference too old for you? Well, meet another pretty young thing. Wok This Way, Lower Parel’s favourite little button of an Asian restaurant, has a birthday week coming up this July 7 to 15. You’re invited to the party -- turn up with an appetite.

Through this anniversary celebration week, Wok This Way has a sweet deal for diners visiting their Lower Parel restaurant. Everything on their fragrant, healthy, wholesome all-Asian menu is priced at Rs 100 at this party (beverages and dessert excluded). Don’t know the birthday bao...er, boy? Don’t worry, you’re going to be great friends. If you can’t make it, you’ll be missed -- but they promise to send you a surprise return gift with every order on Swiggy, Scootsy and Zomato.

That’s not your only reason to celebrate, of course: the main event is their made-from-scratch, dewy-fresh, 100% MSG- and preservative-free cuisine, beloved of vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. You can make your own black rice wok for an unusual, unforgettable meal; or pick from ten different sauces from all over South East Asia to wok with.

If you’re looking for comfort, there’s warm, oozy mushroom and cheese dimsum, BBQ tofu baos and a killer veg bibimbap, because they know exactly what hits the spot. (We can confirm that that all-veg bulgogi sauce has drawn sighs of pleasure even from committed meat-eaters.)

You also get to assemble a teppenyaki grill that’s Wok This Way’s fun take on steak, get a smooth, refreshing beverage to wash it down, and finish with a little chocolate tart and coffee cream cake. Chow (Yun-fat) down, kids!

Getting there: Wok This Way’s anniversary celebration, every dish excluding beverages and dessert priced at Rs 100 on dine-ins from July 7-15. Wok This Way, opposite Palladium mall, 7A, Janta Industrial Estate, Lower Parel.
