Have you curd? Greek yogurt brand Epigamia just welcomed a new member to its family. Come say hello to the new, fresh and (gut) friendly Artisanal Curd. This is India’s first lactose-free curd that has more probiotics than any other version, and – we’re going to get technical here - contains two strains of probiotics - Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium lactis that reduce abdominal discomfort.

The folks at Epigamia tell us they didn’t want to launch any ol’ curd. And so they energized it with probiotics and made it lactose free after speaking to customers who told them they had given up their daily cup of curd because of the discomfort they always felt. “Removing the lactose from milk eases certain digestive issues, such as cramps, bloating, and diarrhea… especially for those who are lactose intolerant and can’t break it down on their own,” they tell us.

So yes, your gut feeling about Epigamia has always been right.

Besides pleasing your gut, this Artisanal Curd also helps build immunity and improve your overall health.

When you visit this new baby, remember to meet and greet the rest of the Epigamia familia – the all-natural, preservative-free cups of thick, fruity Greek yogurt in Natural, Alphonso Mango, Strawberry, Honey Banana, Blueberry, Wild Raspberry, Pink Guava and Vanilla Bean. Our favourite way to do Epigamia – put a fistful of blue berries in the strawberry yogurt cup and eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Getting there: Available at grocery stores around you; Rs 70. Visit, follow them on Twitter and Facebook on @epigamia and Instagram on @epigamiayogurt.
