It’s hard to resist the charm of Delhi based Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, this curly-haired belle with a velvet-y voice and words to match. Now thanks to The Finch, you get to watch her live in Mumbai on November 17 & 18.
Here’s why you shouldn’t miss the show.
Sanjeeta, a graduate from the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Boston, started her career as a student of Hindustani Classical music, while simultaneously exploring the worlds of jazz, RnB, latin music and flamenco. She has performed at several venues in India, Boston and Spain, including Boston Symphony Hall alongside music composer A.R. Rahman, Berklee Performance Center, Un Lago de Conciertos and Magnetic Fields; and has collaborated with Kolkata band, Them Clones and Raghu Dixit Projects’ Achyuth Jaigopal. She has also been mentioned by Rolling Stone as '10 artists Under 25 You Should Check Out'.
The result of all these influences and collaborations is truly mic drop-worthy, so book tickets here and make sure you don’t miss this diva live.
Getting there: On November 17 & 18 at 9.30 pm at The Finch, John Baker, Marol, Saki Vihar Road, Andheri (E), book tickets here.
