The Monkey Bar (r)evolution is here!
Your favourite gastropub has an all new menu that’s lighter and light-hearted, with dishes built for comfort. The menu lists 41 new dishes and 8 brilliant new signature cocktails, all available at the Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata outposts.
The kitchen's focus is on small plates that showcase flavours from different parts of the country. New additions include stuffed kulchas (Malabari Mutton, Butter Chicken, and Onion and Kalimpong Cheese varities); Thelawala Mutton Seekh; Bandel and Malai Fish Kebab; Paneer and Tarkari Shashlik; Tibetan Thukpa, Watermelon and Feta Escabeche Salad; Honey Mustard Chicken Salad; Dilli Samosa Chaat; Naga Crispened Pork Belly; Thai Style Chicken Burger; Nimbu Masala Fries and more.
And as always, Monkey Bar's cocktail game remains strong, this time presented as a set of eight playful potions. Start by trying the fiery Rasam Mary; move on to the sweet-sour Tomesh Collins made with gin, lime murabba, and tonic water; and the ebullient Pied Piper comprising jeera-infused whisky, cinnamon, sweet and sour syrup topped with ginger ale. If you're a vodka vulture, seek out the Juicy Martini, crafted with vodka, Rhododendron syrup, pear juice and apple juice; or the delightfully desi Peena Colada where homemade rabri and badaam shirin give a delicious spin to an old favourite dessert. And waiting at the end of the cocktail line up, to reward your patience, is the super smooth, very sexy white rum mix, Sip Me Tender.
