Gourmet Passport is all about women leaders this March - celebrating women who shatter glass ceilings in the F&B world.

Gourmet Passport by Dineout, kickstarted International Women’s Day celebrations with a panel discussion - thankfully not a manel - titled “In Conversation with Gourmet Passport: Women Breaking Barriers”. Held at The Lalit, New Delhi on March 3, it brought together young women achievers to discuss the gradual rise of women in the restaurant world; and the barriers they have to overcome. In this case, too many cooks did not spoil the broth. Stirred by panelists Chef Megha Kohli (Lavaash by Saby), Chef Nandita Karan (The Lalit in Chandigarh), Chef Bani Nanda (Miam), Chef Vanishka Bhatia (Together at 12th), Chef Anahita Dhondy (SodaBottleOpenerWala), and Palki Singh (General Manager, Indian Accent), the panel was hosted by Gourmet Passport Founder Rocky Mohan and Dineout CEO & Co-Founder Ankit Mehrotra.

Ladies Finger: A Long March Ahead

If you missed the panel, look out for the ongoing March campaign where Gourmet Passport is putting a spotlight on women-run partner restaurants through their social media accounts, as well as featuring women-run restaurants on the  Dineout App.

Also track their calendar for Gourmet Passport Experiences, a set of highly curated events across the country, that will highlight women in F&B, and work towards promoting inclusivity, gender equality and equal opportunities for all (see event table at the end of the story). These events are accessible exclusively to Gourmet Passport members. If you’re a member and would like to be part of these events, DM them on Instagram (@gourmetpassport).
