After all the Bandra openings in the last two months, we’re happy to report a new South Bombay sighting.
Say hello to Havana, a new café and bar in Colaba that will, as the name suggests, offer all things Cuban – rum, cigars, coffee. With colonial style décor and “infectious music”, Havana comes from the team behind Three Flights Up, Pizzeria and Polly Esther’s, so we’re expecting a fun trip.
Much like Castro’s location, the founders do not wish to disclose the exact address of the bar yet, but our sources tell us that Havana will open at the Gordon House. A call to the hotel confirmed that shutters go up at the end of the month.
Meanwhile, read our travel postcard from Havana here.
Getting there: 1st floor, Gordon House, 5 Battery Street, Colaba, call 22894400, slated to open at the end of June.
