Gather around the fire, kids. Team Sly Granny has a new story for you.

Azure Hospitality’s much-awaited launch of the year is up and running! Drive past the Foxtrot House of Subculture, and you will see a welcome mat outside. Knock twice and enter into this “home” that keeps within it an art room, a restaurant, a wellbeing space called Mimansa that houses a café, garden terrace, and a wellness studio.

The first outpost in Marathahalli redefined dining experiences in the locality; and with this flagship launch, Azure hopes to “push the boundaries” with a venue that caters to kids, teens, adults as well as senior citizens. Talk about community building!

The Décor: Moulin Rouge Meets Micro Greens

Designed by Chetana Vij Sharma and executed by Atul Anand, Foxtrot House of Subculture is built like a fraternity house. The ground level features an open to air cobbled stone garden that will host most live events, and the first level features a community room with networking walls equipped for all-day working scenes; a balconette setup as an art studio for the painting enthusiasts; and a Parisienne room with an eclectic art collection that makes for a great diner. On the top two floors, the mood changes with Mimansa, an earthy wellness space that stretches across a health café, a lifestyle boutique, a terrace garden that supplies micro greens to the kitchen, as well as a wellness studio.

The Food & Drinks: Choriz Kulchas + Mac And Cheese

The menu is a mix of small plates from across the globe and some large plate options with a leaning towards forgotten hyper local Indian creations.

Chef Sudhanshu, Head of Cuisine at Foxtrot & Mamagoto, recommends you get the Beetroot Galouti grounded chat masala, saffron khasta roti, soya kheema pyramids with hot honey glaze and popped amaranth; Mangalore Highway Chicken Wings; and Roasted Pork Belly. Large plate options include Enchilada, Wild Mushroom Risotto, Sri Lankan Spiced Mutton/Chicken with Malabar Paratha, Spiced Chilli Fish, Bacon Mac & Cheese.

They also do tacos, burgers, sandwiches, pizza and flatbread if you’re looking to grab a quick, casual bite. PS: We can’t wait for you to try the Chorizo Kulcha! Meanwhile, Nitro cocktails, boozy popsicles and concoctions made with whisky and matcha await your toast at the bar.

The Wellness Bits: Chia Seeds & Chakras

With a team of expert chefs and Ayurvedic specialists, Mimansa employs ancient Ayurvedic principles of cooking coupled with locally sourced, chemical-free, seasonal produce. Think Green Moong Dal and Bocconcini salads, ragi dosas and almond milk masala chai.

The playroom offers yoga classes, rooftop farming workshops for kids, as well as access to wellness consultants who will use Naturopahty, Ayurveda, Traditional Tibetan Medicine and reflexology to help you live the best life you can. The lifestyle boutique helps too.

In addition, you can expect farmers’ markets, art workshops, internships, private parties and more!
