Best (suit)case study: after its resounding success and based on popular demand, Shizusan has brought back The Travelling Stars, on until August 26. This delicious series showcases a selection of baos, dim sum, satays, sushi and more, in a bid to introduce the diner to flavours from across Southeast Asia.
But you don’t need to bring your passport to experience the best of Philippines and China, Sri Lanka and Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Singapore and Thailand at Shizusan. Highlights of your meal will include fresh Norwegian Salmon Maki, Activated Charcoal & Crab Xiao Long Bao (stuffed with steaming hot pho!), Korean Sweet Chilli Chicken Bao, Udang Bulgogi Satay and more.
If vegetarian is more your type, feast on Banh Bao Chay (Vietnamese stuffed steamed buns with wild mushrooms and glass noodles), Filipino Steamer Bao (shredded veggies tossed in sweet soy, sesame and chilli-mayo), Asparagus & Fragrant Rice Baozi (fragrant rice in superior broth with veggies), Kushikatsu Lotus Root (deep fried Japanese crumbed food on a stick) and more.
